Spring 2026 Ango
MARCH 1 TO MAY 30, 2026
This is a Zen Garland Order Practice Series for all our Centers and Practitioners
ANGO THEME: Together, we will explore how the Three Tenets—Not Knowing, Bearing Witness, and Compassionate Action—are not simply ideals to contemplate, but living practices that shape how we meet ourselves, one another, and the world.
In the Zen Garland lineage, these practices support what we refer to as ethical maturation: the gradual, relational unfolding of wisdom, responsibility, and engaged compassion across all of the contexts of our lives. “Framed in this way, we might think of the Three Tenets as contributing to a kind of Dharma immune system—a resilient, responsive capacity to stay present and engaged amid suffering, complexity, and uncertainty. Rather than defending against the world, this “immune system” allows us to remain open, grounded, and responsive across all of the dimensions of our lives.”
